As an artist, Gianna, specialises in working alongside plants, people, images and memories. Through her curiosity to learn more about the human connection of plants being able to provide us with food, medicine, fibres, dyes and breath, Gianna started to begin her natural dyeing journey by experimenting with her artistic practices. Inspired by the ancient dye techniques of Indigo in West Africa, Gianna, has created beautifully made custom bespoke natural dye garments for herself and others.
