This jacket is inspired by an unnamed 1910s American coverall found in a coal mine, which captivated Taiga Takahashi and led to the creation of the T.T. Coverall Jacket. Reflecting the shift in 1920s America from artisan craftsmanship to mass production, its design is purely functional—straight-line stitching, flat patterns, and durable fabric built for hard labor. Made from thick, textured katsuragi fabric, it features clean twill lines with uniform yarn. The custom iron buttons and back hardware are uncoated, allowing natural rust and aging over time. More tool than garment, this piece embodies workwear’s raw essence.
