BEAMS JAPAN custom made the seat of ``Stool No. 202'' designed by Isamu Kenmochi, a pioneer of industrial design, in orange color. A long-selling product since its release in 1958, this masterpiece won the Good Design Award and the Long Life Design Award in 2013. The curves created using the bent wood technique are the result of the craftsmanship of Akita Mokkou, a studio specializing in bent wood, and the product is also attractive in that it can be stacked and stored by stacking the bent wood parts.
