Continuing on with our “In Motion” collaborations, we embark on a new chapter. We introduce FRIDAY*, who is a 21 year old, Ghanaian-Australian, multi-disciplinary artist from Western Sydney. He is a maker of music and visual art.

As for many, art is a form of expression. @seenonfriday speaks on the importance of expressing his art. “Making art is so important to me because it’s an extension of the abstract parts of myself; the parts that can’t be explained logically. It’s a means for me to process my existence, the good and bad parts of it.”

FRIDAY* strives to change the perception surrounding the creative arts as a viable career path. @seenonfriday wants to encourage people to make weirder things and be more honest with their art.

His current goal is to set the links between the creative industry here and the industries in other creative hubs of the world by cultivating a scene of serious heavy hitting artists here in Sydney, of which there is many here, they just need the spotlight and resources.

We style FRIDAY* in garments from MAILLOT including brands such as Sillage, Leh, SEVEN BY SEVEN, Nine Tailor, BLUE BLUE JAPAN, Paraboot; all available in-store and online now.
