This dish combines pigments traditionally used to decorate unglazed ceramic with an unrefined ceramic clay, which gives this type of porcelain a natural and warm appearance typical of Japanese ceramics.
Decorated by hand, the dish presents an alternating decoration of circles with natural pigments. This decoration is also available on small Gosu tea plates, bowls and cups.
The Archives collection features traditional pieces produced in Arita using techniques from popular Japanese craftsmanship. Each piece is hand painted and has unique characteristics that may differ slightly from the copy presented.
