This tea cup combines pigments traditionally used to decorate unglazed ceramics with unrefined ceramic clay, which gives this type of porcelain a natural and warm appearance typical of Japanese ceramics.
Decorated by hand, the cup features dark enamel and shapes painted in vermilion red, a decor available in bowls, cups and small Gosu plates.
The Archives collection features traditional pieces produced in Arita using techniques from popular Japanese craftsmanship. Each piece is hand-painted and has unique characteristics that may differ slightly from the copy presented.
